Why We Walk
The Down Syndrome Walk Arizona is more than a parade—it’s the heart of our mission. Together, we rope in awareness and corral resources and open new trails for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Your participation helps us:
- Blaze New Paths by providing education and resources that equip caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
- Stand Tall for Advocacy, ensuring every voice is heard and valued in our communities.
- Keep the Wagon Rolling with health and wellness initiatives, adaptive fitness and music programs, seasonal celebrations, and meaningful events for all ages.
- Our crew is the largest group in the ASU Homecoming Parade, cheered on by thousands of spectators. This year’s 321 Rodeo theme calls for boots, hats, bandannas, and creativity—bring your Western spirit and team pride!
Make Your Impact
- Don’t sit on the fence – Giddy up and make this year’s walk a monumental success.
- Be a Team Sheriff (Captain): Rally your circle, set the pace, and lead the charge.
- Join the crew: Hop in the saddle with family, friends, or coworkers.
- Sponsor the Walk: Align your brand with acceptance and belonging.
- Donate: Keep DSNetwork’s wagon rolling strong all year long.
- Volunteer: Pitch in as part of the crew that makes the day unforgettable.
In partnership with Arizona State University and dozens of valued community partners, DSNetwork is proud to lead thousands of spectators in a visible, joyful message of acceptance, belonging, and community.
