The Down Syndrome Walk Arizona is more than a walk. It is a day to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome, honor the journeys of their families, and raise the funds that make DSNetwork’s work possible year-round.
This year’s theme, Once Upon a Walk – Where Every Story Shines, reminds us that every person has their own unique story. Together, we can help ensure those stories are filled with opportunity, acceptance, and belonging.
When you walk with us, you help:
Provide education and resources for families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
Advance advocacy efforts that promote inclusion and create opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome to thrive.
Support year-round programs including health and wellness initiatives, adaptive fitness, music, seasonal celebrations, family events, and meaningful opportunities to connect.
Each year, DSNetwork proudly leads the largest group in the ASU Homecoming Parade, surrounded by thousands of cheering spectators. Whether your team arrives dressed as knights, dragons, royalty, fairies, or your favorite storybook characters, your participation sends a powerful message that every individual belongs and every story matters.
