DESCRIPTION:This year’s photo shoot will take place at DSNetwork’s Family Enrichment Center near Guadalupe and McClintock in Tempe. \nSign up is first come first serve\, free and open to all ages of individuals with Down syndrome. The purpose of the calendar is to celebrate the beauty of Down syndrome and increase awareness. \nIf you know of any business that would like to sponsor the 2025 calendar and benefit from marketing and branding exposure\, please contact Jennifer@DSNetworkAZ.org for more details. \nWe look forward to seeing all your gorgeous smiles!  \nPlease remember to wear clothes without logos or writing on them. Solid colors or basic patterns are preferred. Do not wear white (photo background is white). Due to time constraints and wanting to include as many participants as possible in the calendar\, please do not bring a change of outfits. \nPlan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled session and be ready to meet with the photographer. \nNO PICTURES OR VIDEO RECORDING ALLOWED\, WHILE PHOTOGRAPHER IS WORKING! \nPictures will be available for families to download (free) and print on their own immediately following the 2025 Down Syndrome Walk Arizona. The download links will be emailed to you at that time. DESCRIPTION:DSNetwork invites all new parents and soon to be parents in 2023 & 2024 to join us for a social gathering. \nThis special meet and greet event is tailored for new parents or soon to be parents\, who are embarking on a unique and wonderful adventure. \nWe are a community of parents who share a common thread—raising children with Down syndrome. We understand that this journey may come with its own set of questions\, emotions\, and celebrations. Our aim is to provide a supportive network where experiences can be shared\, friendships can be formed\, and valuable resources can be accessed. \nThis gathering is an opportunity to connect with fellow parents who have walked a similar path and can offer insights\, advice\, and\, most importantly\, camaraderie. We believe in the strength that comes from shared experiences and the joy that arises when we come together to celebrate the uniqueness and beauty of our children. \nThe event will be an informal and welcoming environment\, providing a space for open conversations\, laughter\, and the building of lasting connections. Feel free to bring any questions you may have\, as well as your own experiences to share.
