CJ Udall Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established by Down Syndrome Network (DSNetwork) to provide scholarship opportunties for individuals with Down syndrome and their family.
In memory of CJ Udall, whose positive attitude and enthusiasm for life continues to inspire others to explore adventurous opportunities, the DSNetwork offers a limited number of partial scholarships to assist individuals to attend an event/program.
The CJ Udall Memorial Scholarship is intended to assist individuals and families who demonstrate a need and the desire to expand their lifetime memories by exploring adventurous opportunities.
100% of funds designated for the CJ Udall Memorial Scholarship Fund provide educational experiences for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Click here to make a difference.
CURRENT SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
- Basic Needs Scholarship:
This scholarship is given to an individual with Down syndrome who requires an item for their basic needs. You will be asked to describe in detail the item and how this will enhance the life of the individual with Down syndrome. - Tweens & Teens CAN Group Meetings
Tweens & Teens CAN group (ages 8-18) meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month, from 2 to 4 pm. Except no groups in March, October & December. There are a limited number of scholarships available. - Scholarships are offered to only individuals with Down syndrome or one of their family members.
- Scholarships are offered to only individuals with Down syndrome, who reside in AZ.
- Any scholarship recipient who does not show up for the activity for which they receive a scholarship will be invoiced at the full amount of the activity’s registration fee.
You will receive notification within 3 weeks of submitting your application. Scholarship recipients must write a brief summary of the experience of what the scholarship was used for and how the scholarship was beneficial, within 2 weeks following the conclusion of receiving the scholarship.
